FYI, this story is more than a year old

Visual analytics firm Qlik has landed in Canberra, with a new office to serve what the company says is growing demand by Australian organisations for analytics that drive greater efficiencies.

Qlik vice president and regional director for Australia and New Zealand Sharryn Napier, says the new Canberra office will deliver stronger services to organisations in the region.

“As Qlik continues to see robust customer and partner growth momentum in Australia, the addition of the new office will cement Qlik's leadership position in providing innovative business intelligence solutions to organisations in the public as well as private sectors,” Napier explains.

The Canberra office is the company's fifth Australian office. Qlik also has offices in Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, and Queensland.

According to Napier, one of the key industries that Qlik works closely with is the government sector. She says with the Australian Government Department of Employment and NSW Public Service Commission among its client roster, Qlik's new office in Canberra will allow it to strengthen its support and services to federal customers as well as other private enterprises including BT Financial Group and Horizon Power.

“Australia is a key market for us in Asia Pacific and globally, and the Canberra office opening is testament of our commitment to our customers,” says Napier.

“We continue to see a strong demand for our visual analytics platform as organisations strive to become more data-driven, deriving insights to make the best decisions that drive greater efficiency and stronger outcomes,” she explains.
