MadisonAV to distribute NETGEAR AV switches in Australia
MadisonAV, a distributor of professional audio-visual solutions, has announced a strategic partnership with global networking product leader, NETGEAR. The Australian firm is set to act as a specialist distributor of NETGEAR AV Managed Switches and corresponding accessories within the domestic market.
This new alliance represents a significant benchmark for MadisonAV in its ongoing dedication to offering innovative solutions, further bolstering its status as a top distributor of professional AV products. MadisonAV will extend its ability to deliver comprehensive, consistent and scalable networked AV solutions to its varied clientele with the integration of NETGEAR's Pro AV products into its repertoire.
MadisonAV CEO, Ken Kyle, expressed enthusiasm surrounding the partnership. "We are thrilled to be appointed distributor of NETGEAR Pro AV products in Australia. This collaboration aligns seamlessly with our vision of providing world-class audio-visual solutions to our clients. NETGEAR is a globally recognised manufacturer of exceptional switching products, and their Pro AV switches complement our existing offerings perfectly," Kyle said.
The Pro AV switches from NETGEAR will be smoothly merged into MadisonAV's existing product lineup to bolster the firm's capacity to provide fully integrated networked AV solutions. They will play a vital role in MadisonAV's sales of AMX SVSI networked AV solutions, offering clients robust and reliable networking infrastructure. This partnership further enables MadisonAV to propose a one-stop shop for AV and networking solutions, simplifying the procurement process for its customers.
"The addition of NETGEAR Pro AV products to our portfolio further expands our ability to supply even more comprehensive solutions," Kyle continued. "Another of our brands, AMX by HARMAN, has a preferred vendor relationship with NETGEAR, where their professional AV series 4350, 4300 and 4250 switches are now the recommended choice for all AMX AV over IP installations worldwide. This relationship provides the additional reassurance that their collective efforts to achieve interoperability and technology integration will result in a superior experience for our shared customers."
NETGEAR's Director of Product Line Management for Managed Switches, Laurent Masia, voiced delight at the prospect of MadisonAV distributing their switches throughout Australia. "Their relationship with the Pro AV market in Australia will enhance the visibility and expansion of our AV over IP solutions into the very specialised Professional AV market, as well as provide a superior experience for their AMX customers. Our expert Pro AV team will be working closely with MadisonAV to provide thorough support of our Pro AV solutions within the Australian market," indicated Masia.
The M4250 series of switches were designed from the ground up by NETGEAR, drawing on more than 25 years of networking experience and input from the AV community. The state-of-the-art switches are targeted at Pro AV applications that need to handle audio, video, and control signals over an IP network reliably and robustly.
The NETGEAR AV Line of Managed Switches is engineered for AV over IP. They offer clean integration in an AV rack, under a table, or behind a display, with models featuring PoE+ and Ultra 90 PoE++, enabling the powering of AV endpoints and more. The versatile and intuitive AV interface and the Engage Controller free software application simplify AV over IP switch configurations, allowing installers to focus more on the fundamental parts of the installation process.
