LogicMonitor folds AI & digital experience into all tiers

LogicMonitor has introduced new platform packages that include Edwin AI and Digital Experience tools in every licensing tier, making artificial intelligence and digital experience monitoring standard across its Essentials, Advanced and Signature packages.

The revised packaging brings together LogicMonitor Envision, Edwin AI and LogicMonitor Digital Experience, including Synthetics and Internet Sonar, under a single licensing model. The aim is to give IT teams a broader view of infrastructure, online services and internet health while linking operational alerts with end-user experience.

The changes come as technology suppliers and enterprise customers place greater emphasis on using AI in day-to-day IT operations rather than treating it as a separate add-on. LogicMonitor is targeting organisations managing hybrid environments, as well as managed service providers that need to monitor large estates under one pricing structure.

Three tiers

The three package levels remain Essentials, Advanced and Signature. Each tier now includes the same core product families, with larger usage allowances as customers move up the range.

Essentials includes 20 AI Credits and 100 Synthetics Points per Hybrid Unit, with 120 days of Synthetics storage. Advanced includes 75 AI Credits and 250 Synthetics Points per Hybrid Unit, with 13 months of storage. Signature includes 150 AI Credits and 500 Synthetics Points per Hybrid Unit, with three years of storage.

Edwin AI features such as event intelligence, automation, AI agents and Model Context Protocol access all draw on the AI Credit allowance. The Digital Experience element combines synthetic monitoring and internet health visibility, with usage levels set by package tier.

Pricing model

The announcement builds on the Hybrid Unit pricing model LogicMonitor introduced in 2025. Hybrid Units were designed to give customers a more flexible way to measure monitoring across changing IT estates rather than buying access through separate product silos.

Since that launch, LogicMonitor says it has sold more than 826,000 Hybrid Units. More than 90 per cent of new customers this year have chosen platform pricing, including enterprises and managed service providers worldwide.

The figures suggest LogicMonitor is trying to simplify how customers buy observability and operations software at a time when IT estates often span on-premise systems, public cloud, network services and customer-facing digital channels. Folding AI and digital experience monitoring into every tier also removes the need to treat them as optional extras when comparing packages.

Garth Fort, Chief Product Officer at LogicMonitor, outlined the company's view of how buyers want to consume these tools. "IT teams don't need more separate observability tools with AI bolted on; they need a connected operating model," Fort said.

He said the packaging is intended to let customers start with a common base of monitoring and automation, then increase usage over time. "Every package now brings LogicMonitor Envision, Digital Experience and Edwin AI together, with included allowances that scale by tier, so teams can start with connected visibility and advance toward governed automation at their own pace, with people in control," he said.

Wider trend

The product packaging reflects a broader shift in enterprise software towards bundling AI functions into standard subscriptions rather than selling them only as premium upgrades. For IT operations teams, that could make it easier to test automated workflows and AI-led analysis without negotiating separate contracts for different monitoring tools.

At the same time, the allowances show that LogicMonitor is still placing clear limits on usage, especially around AI credits, synthetic monitoring points and data retention. That gives customers access to the same product set in each tier while reserving higher consumption levels for larger or more complex environments.

For buyers, the practical question will be whether the combined packaging reduces the need for overlapping tools across infrastructure monitoring, service assurance and digital experience management. LogicMonitor argues that IT teams can use a single model to connect user-facing issues with the underlying operational signals and decide when human oversight should remain in place.

The new packages are available immediately. Signature offers the highest allocation, with 150 AI Credits and 500 Synthetics Points per Hybrid Unit, alongside three years of Synthetics storage.
