Board International looks to accelerate APAC momentum with new channel appointments
CA Technologies alum Paul Miles has been joined the team at BI, CPM - Analytics platform, Board International.
Based in Melbourne, Miles comes on as the new channel partner operations manager, and is tasked enabling Board International to more effectively serve its key channel partners, resellers and technology alliance vendors.
He will be responsible for strengthening the platform's channel partner ecosystem, identifying and recruiting additional consulting and implementation partners, and managing channel enablement.
Miles joins Board with more than 20 years of product marketing and channel partner management in the IT industry. He previously worked at CA Technologies for more than ten years in several roles, including global channel partner program manager, based in New York. In this role, Miles launched the company's first cloud-based Partner Relationship Management system, and created the company's first-ever Market Development Funds program for managed service providers.
He was subsequently appointed CA Technologies' partner program manager for Asia Pacific and Japan, during which time he worked with multiple solution providers, service providers, system integrators and distributors to assist the company and partners achieve their sales targets.

In addition to Miles' appointment, Board is further accelerating its presence in the Southern States with the appointment of Marlon Herft as regional sales manager, also based in Melbourne. Herft will be responsible for charting the company's sales momentum growth in Victoria, Tasmania and South Australia.
Herft joins Board with more than 15 years' experience in the IT industry, and was previously Australia and New Zealand regional vice president for sales at SumTotal Systems, during which time he was responsible for leading the team for customer acquisition and supporting the company's channel partner growth.
Herft also previously assumed senior regional sales leadership positions including as vice president Asia Pacific for Degreed, and director of Asia Pacific sales at D2L Asia Pacific. He also worked at SkillSoft for ten years, initially as product specialist and business development manager, based in Melbourne before moving to Singapore as regional director for Asia, with responsibility for the growth of the Asia sales and partner acquisition.
