Amber Technology & ABB Australia enter new alliance

Amber Technology has formed a strategic alliance with ABB Australia, a global leader in technology, electrification, and automation. Amber Technology, a renowned distributor of audio-visual solutions, was chosen to join ABB Australia's network of technical distributors across the country. This partnership aims to distribute building automation and lighting control systems in Australia, having formally started operations on Monday 12 February, 2024.

Amber Technology has offices and representatives spread across all the major Australian capital cities and is backed by an extensive national network of installers serving both residential and commercial sectors. The setup ensures a proficient distribution and support system. Customers who are integrators and installers with ABB can expect improved accessibility and availability of the required products through Amber Technology's distribution network.

Peter Amos, the managing director of Amber Technology, spoke on the collaboration: "We are delighted to announce a significant partnership with ABB. Christian Schiemann, the business manager of building and home automation systems at ABB Australia, commented on the new alliance: "We are thrilled to welcome Amber Technology as a new partner supporting ABB.

"Amber Technology will help expand ABB's reach into the market, representing our Commercial ABB i-bus KNX portfolio, as well as the ABB-Welcome Door Intercom offering," Schiemann said.
