Tecala Group forms strategic automation alliance with Nintex

Thu, 9th May 2024

Sydney-based technology service provider, Tecala Group, has announced a strategic alliance with Nintex, a specialist in process management and automation solutions. This partnership follows Tecala's recent acquisition of rapidMATION, a renowned intelligent automation group and a notable partner of Nintex.

Nintex provides a complete process automation platform that supports companies from the initial stages, through their maturing phase, and into expansion of their process management and automation programmes. Recognised for its easy-to-use tools and versatile automation capabilities, Nintex is strengthening its investment in partners capable of tailoring its tools to specific customer usage requirements. Tecala's acquisition of rapidMATION builds on its existing capabilities in automation, data, and AI, thus expanding its Nintex proficiency to ensure continual delivery of excellent results for clients.

Shaun Leisegang, formerly CEO and Co-Founder of rapidMATION and currently General Manager of Automation, Data and AI at Tecala expressed his confidence about the partnership, "We firmly believe that Nintex is unparalleled in human-centric workflow and digital forms, consistently surpassing expectations. Their commitment to innovation keeps them at the industry's cutting edge. We're focused on extending the Tecala team's capacity to use this robust technology to assist an increasing number of our customers towards achieving their operational efficiency objectives."

In today's corporate landscape, efficiency is the key focus. Christian Lucarelli, Global Head of Partners at Nintex, said, "Businesses are increasingly leveraging automation tools like Nintex to extract maximum value from their software, data, and team activity. Getting closer to and understanding the requirements of our shared customers is deemed a scalable business strategy. We are eager to expand the value of the Nintex Process Platform to Tecala's new and existing customers."

The acquisition of rapidMATION by Tecala is perfectly in line with its broader strategy to embrace advanced technologies. The integration of rapidMATION signifies the birth of ADA, a venture representing the shared vision both organisations hold for the imperative role AI-powered intelligent automation holds.

Pieter DeGunst, Managing Director of Tecala, highlighted the strategic significance of this collaboration. "The integration of rapidMATION and the establishment of our Automation, Data and AI department marks the most recent leap forward in our long-term strategy to adopt and champion new technologies."

In 2021, the rapidMATION team was recognised with a Nintex Partner Award for Business Excellence for its work with LifeFlight, confirming the use of Nintex technology to automate tactical reporting requirements of the aeromedical rescue mission teams, thereby allowing more focus on safe and efficient patient treatment and transfer.

Leisegang emphasised the cultural synergy between the teams, "Finding an opportunity with a strong business fit, buttressed by a cultural harmony between our teams, is rare. This partnership is a unique scenario where the whole is greater than the sum of its parts."
