FYI, this story is more than a year old

NTT Communications (NTT Com), NTT Data, Intel and Pivotal will work together with Intel to bring cloud-native solutions to enterprises, with the aim of accelerating digital transformation.

The two companies will also launch a training center for enterprises, where they can learn about IT development in areas such as DevOps and agile development.

NTT Com will provide the cloud-native platform and will expand its Enterprise Cloud service, allowing private cloud and multi-tenant cloud services to deploy third party applications and services. The company will also plans to adopt "Pivotal Cloud Foundry", a well-known cloud-native platform.

NTT Data will deliver cloud-native integration services for IoT and digital marketing via its platform, microservices and API. It will also help with agile development.

Pivotal will provide Pivotal Cloud Foundry, a modern cloud platform and 'cutting-edge' agile software development methodology.

Intel will provide the Intel Cloud For All, promising simple deployment of on-premise or hybrid clouds. NTT cloud infrastructure will be powered by Intel Xeon processors, as well as a number of other Intel software tools.

NTT Com says that as enterprises are embracing digital technology to form customer-focused business strategies, they also need to use cloud-native platforms and the applications that go with them.

Digital technology can help organisations gain competitive advantage; while innovations such as agile development are now available to many more medium and large companies, NTT Com concludes.
