OPPO has opened Australian pre-orders for its Find X10 smartphone series, comprising the Find X10 and Find X10 Pro Max.

The launch marks OPPO's latest push into the premium handset segment, with the new devices centred on camera features developed with Hasselblad.

The Find X10 is priced at AUD $2,299, while the Find X10 Pro Max costs AUD $2,699. The standard model features a dual 200MP camera system, while the Pro Max has 200MP sensors for its ultra-wide, main and telephoto cameras.

Both phones also add higher-end video features. The Find X10 supports 4K 60fps recording across all rear cameras, while its main and telephoto cameras also support 4K 120fps and 8K 30fps. On the Pro Max, all three rear cameras support 4K 60fps, 4K 120fps and 8K 30fps.

OPPO is also including a Hasselblad teleconverter kit in eligible pre-order and launch bundles for Australian buyers. The accessory, which has a recommended retail price of AUD $799, is designed to extend the telephoto camera with 3.28x optical magnification.

Camera focus

Imaging is the main point of difference across the series. The Find X10 Pro Max uses a 200MP ultra-wide camera with a 1/1.56-inch sensor and a 124-degree autofocus lens, alongside a 200MP main camera built around Samsung's ISOCELL HPC sensor and a 200MP telephoto camera with an f/2.1 aperture.

The Find X10 series also introduces a 26MP default capture mode from ultra-wide through 9.9x, with optional 50MP and 200MP modes available on supported cameras.

For video users, the handsets support Dolby Vision, ACES-certified O-Log2 and Open Gate Capture, which uses the full imaging area of the sensor and allows footage to be reframed for different aspect ratios during editing. OPPO has also worked with Blackmagic Design to bring Dolby Vision, O-Log2 and Open Gate Capture into the Blackmagic Camera app workflow for the devices.

Premium segment

The launch comes as OPPO seeks a larger share of the higher-priced smartphone market. The company cited Omdia data showing Find Series shipments rose by more than 500% year on year in the first half of 2026, alongside an increase in shipment share in the USD $600-plus price bracket.

It added that the share of premium smartphones within OPPO's total smartphone shipments has doubled year on year over the past two years.

Alongside imaging, OPPO is using display and battery specifications to position the new models at the top end of its range. The Find X10 has a 6.59-inch display and the Pro Max a 6.78-inch display. Both screens support refresh rates of up to 144Hz LTPO and peak brightness of 3,600 nits, according to OPPO.

Both models run on a 7,150mAh silicon-carbon battery, support 80W wired charging and 50W wireless charging, and use ColourOS 17. The Find X10 uses the MediaTek Dimensity 9600M processor, while the Pro Max uses the 2nm MediaTek Dimensity 9600 Pro.

Michael Tran, Managing Director, OPPO Australia, said OPPO sees the camera system as central to how it wants buyers to view the brand at the top end of the market.

"With the Find X10 Series, we're making a clear statement about OPPO becoming a benchmark for premium smartphone camera technology. Our partnership with Hasselblad and our investment in image processing come together in a camera experience that delivers exceptional detail, true-to-life colour and creative control," Tran said.

"For Australia, bringing the phones together with dedicated Hasselblad Teleconverter Kits makes this an especially compelling content proposition. We want the camera experience to be the reason people choose OPPO, and the Find X10 Series is our strongest expression of that vision yet," he said.
