Insurance technology company, JAVLN, has bolstered its executive team with the strategic hiring of Rosalie Lau as group chief financial officer and Peter Waring as group chief technology officer. This move strengthens its presence in the Australian market, where the demand for innovative insurance technology is growing.

These appointments position JAVLN to expand its influence further in the Australian insurance sector, following a successful year marked by significant growth. Known for bringing insurance technology into the 21st century for underwriting agencies and insurance brokers, JAVLN is at the forefront of delivering innovative, cloud-based solutions that increase productivity, enhance compliance, and facilitate informed decision-making.

Rosalie Lau, as the new group chief financial officer, brings her extensive experience in both the technology and insurance intermediary sectors to JAVLN. Lau will be responsible for all aspects of the company's financial operations and will implement scalable systems to support the firm's growth trajectory. Speaking about her appointment, she said, "With my background in both the technology and insurance intermediary sectors, I was drawn to the tremendous opportunities JAVLN has to offer. It's my pleasure to join the team at this pivotal time to further support in achieving that mission."

On the technical front, Peter Waring, the new group chief technology officer, will lead teams across JAVLN's product portfolio as well as shaping and executing the company's technology strategy. Waring's impressive 26-year career in the technology industry spans international Fortune 500 companies and start-up scale tech companies. Waring said of his appointment, "JAVLN is a high-growth, Australasian tech success story with a clear value proposition that is future-proofing the insurance industry. I look forward to contributing to its next stage of growth, further building on its incredible success."

Dale Smith, CEO of JAVLN, expressed his confidence in the new additions to the leadership team. He said, "It's an honour to welcome Rosalie and Peter to the JAVLN leadership team. They bring a wealth of experience that will enable us to continue our mission of being a technology enabler for insurance brokers, helping them become more productive, ensure compliance and make informed decisions."

In recent developments, JAVLN has partnered with BJS Insurance Group (BJS) in a bid to enhance its business operations and provide superior client service. Additionally, the company has also acquired Technosoft Solutions’ document management and workflow software OfficeTech and Steadfast’s underwriting policy management platform. This elevated technology now underpins a growing number of Australian brokerages.

In addition to its robust technology offering, JAVLN’s notable feature is its local presence with a team based in nearly every state in Australia. This allows its customers to engage directly with real people who understand firsthand the challenges they face.
