Infios has been named a Leader in Gartner's 2026 Magic Quadrant for Warehouse Management Systems, marking the eighth consecutive year it has received that ranking.

It was also identified in Gartner Peer Insights' Voice of the Customer for warehouse management systems, earning an average rating of 4.5 out of 5 from 32 reviews and recognition as a Customers' Choice.

Infios sells warehouse management software that manages inventory, labour, automation and workflow across distribution operations. In Australia, it works with retailers including Myer, Super Retail Group and Officeworks.

The latest recognition comes as warehouse software providers compete to serve businesses seeking tighter control over stock movements, labour deployment and automated equipment inside fulfilment centres. Demand has also been shaped by pressure on retailers and consumer goods groups to manage seasonal peaks and shifting order volumes without major increases in staffing.

Infios' warehouse management system is used by customers ranging from smaller operations to large organisations. The software combines real-time inventory visibility, slotting, labour management, automation and artificial intelligence within warehouse workflows.

The business, formerly known as Körber Supply Chain Software, says the system is designed to coordinate people, processes, robotics and automation on one platform. That reflects a broader shift in the warehouse software market, where vendors are increasingly trying to connect manual work, machine-led processes and operational decision-making in a single environment.

Customer example

One example cited by Infios was Durham Brands, which used the software during a period of unusually high demand. The customer said it managed a record peak that outpaced forecasts while increasing throughput and avoiding additional labour costs.

"We believe being named a Leader in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Warehouse Management Systems and the only WMS provider recognized as a Gartner Peer Insights Customers' Choice underscores Infios's commitment to delivering real outcomes for our customers through a relentless focus on execution and purposeful innovation," said Ed Auriemma, Chief Executive Officer of Infios. "Our WMS spans entry to enterprise, orchestrating people, processes, robotics and automation in a single, scalable system. This is how we power the next generation of connected intelligent supply chain execution."

Durham Brands gave a more operational account of how the software performed in use, saying it helped manage sharp swings in demand while improving warehouse control.

"With Infios, we've moved beyond simply managing warehouse operations to running a far more connected, intelligent supply chain. We were able to scale through our largest peak on record, exceeding forecast by 170%, while nearly doubling throughput without adding labor, all while improving inventory accuracy and operational control," said Jeff Durham, Chief Executive Officer of Durham Brands. "What stands out is not just the performance gains, but the ability to adapt quickly, make better decisions in real time, and continuously improve how we operate. It's had a lasting impact across the business."

Market position

Warehouse management systems have become a more strategic software category as companies try to improve supply chain resilience after years of disruption. Buyers are looking beyond basic stock tracking to systems that can direct labour, respond to exceptions, and integrate with conveyors, robotics and transport networks.

That has increased the importance of analyst rankings and customer review platforms in procurement decisions, particularly for larger businesses running complex distribution networks. Placement in the leaders group of a major industry assessment can help suppliers strengthen their standing with retailers, manufacturers and third-party logistics operators evaluating long-term software investments.

Infios serves more than 5,000 customers across 70 countries with software covering order, warehouse and transportation management. The company is a joint venture between Körber and KKR.

In Australia, where large retailers continue to invest in supply chain systems, its local customer list suggests a focus on organisations with substantial store and distribution footprints. Those users typically need software that can support a mix of replenishment, eCommerce fulfilment and store delivery across the same warehouse network.

Infios says its software embeds artificial intelligence directly into operational workflows to help users detect disruptions, choose a response and carry out actions across connected systems.
