Freshworks appoints Mika Yamamoto as Chief Customer & Marketing Officer
Freshworks, a multi-domain global business software company, has announced the appointment of Mika Yamamoto as their Chief Customer and Marketing Officer. In this role, Yamamoto will be entrusted with leading the firm's global marketing and customer experience teams.
Coming from a stellar track record, Yamamoto hails from F5, where she served as the Executive Vice President and the Chief Marketing and Customer Engagement Officer. Her responsibilities spanned across different domains like data, marketing, digital transformation, and customer experience, covering all the company's products, segments, channels, and geographies.

Yamamoto's robust experience extends beyond F5. Before her tenure at F5, she served as the Global President of Marketo. Following the acquisition of Marketo by Adobe, she transitioned into the role of SVP and General Manager of Marketo.
Earlier, she had served as Chief Digital Marketing Officer and CMO of SMB for SAP. Her resume also includes senior leadership roles at Amazon Books, Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Stores, Gartner, and Accenture.

A graduate in Commerce, focusing on Economics and Marketing, from Queen's University in Canada, Yamamoto serves on the boards of BlackLine, the Rainier Valley Food Bank and the United Way of King County. She joined the executive team at Freshworks on November 20, answering to the CEO and Founder, Girish Mathrubootham and President Dennis Woodside.
