Extreme Networks expands ANZ director's role

US-based networking specialists Extreme Networks have expanded the role of ANZ regional director James Owens, adding additional areas of responsibility and changing his title to managing director, Southern Asia Pacific.
Owens will now be handling South-East Asia and India on top of his responsibilities in Australia and New Zealand, although he will remain based in Sydney.
He first took up the regional director role in August 2010, following positions with Oracle and Cincom systems.
The Extreme Networks brand is distributed in ANZ by Brightstar and Networld Systems (a business unit of Distribution Central).
