Dynatrace named leader again in 2025 Gartner Magic Quadrant

Dynatrace has been recognised as a Leader in the 2025 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Digital Experience Monitoring.

Gartner evaluated a total of 14 vendors for the report, with Dynatrace acknowledged for both its Ability to Execute and its Completeness of Vision. The company was positioned furthest on the Completeness of Vision axis within the Magic Quadrant.

This marks the second consecutive year that Dynatrace has received the Leader designation in the Digital Experience Monitoring sector from Gartner. The Magic Quadrant assessment provides an analysis of vendors based on a range of criteria, including product capabilities, market understanding, and customer experience.

Continued recognition

Steve Tack, Chief Product Officer at Dynatrace, highlighted the increasing importance of digital channels for customer interaction and the necessity for real-time monitoring of digital infrastructure in maintaining high standards of performance and reliability.

Gartner's analysis assessed each vendor for their capacity to deliver digital experience monitoring solutions that help organisations improve technology performance and customer satisfaction.

Peer feedback and additional findings

In addition to its standing in the Magic Quadrant for Digital Experience Monitoring, Dynatrace was the only vendor named as a Customers' Choice in the 2025 Gartner Peer Insights Voice of the Customer for Digital Experience Monitoring report. Peer Insights compiles the views of end users based on their direct experiences.

The company also received a Leader placement in the 2025 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Observability Platforms. In this report, Dynatrace was positioned highest on the Execution axis.

Furthermore, according to the 2025 Gartner Critical Capabilities for Observability Platforms report, Dynatrace achieved the highest ranking in several use case categories. These include Cost Optimisation (4.32/5), Site Reliability Engineering (4.3/5), Business Insights (4.3/5), and AI Engineering (4.29/5).
