TCL named among TIME's world's best companies for 2026

TCL has been named on TIME's World's Best Companies list for 2026, a ranking compiled by TIME and Statista.

The list draws on an independent survey of 200,000 employees across more than 50 countries and also considers revenue growth and sustainability transparency. TCL said the recognition reflects its focus on workplace inclusion, business growth and sustainability.

The ranking places TCL among companies assessed on internal employee sentiment as well as external business and reporting measures. By combining worker views with financial and disclosure indicators, the methodology extends beyond a standard employer survey.

For the consumer electronics group, the recognition comes as it marks its 45th anniversary. TCL said it has aimed to build an environment in which staff can move across markets and sectors as part of their development.

TCL also highlighted its reporting record on environmental, social and governance matters. It said it has published ESG and corporate social responsibility reports for 17 consecutive years and participates in the United Nations Global Compact.

Workplace focus

TIME's annual company list is one of several global rankings that seek to measure corporate standing through a mix of employee feedback, business performance and disclosure practices. For multinational groups, such lists can serve as an external benchmark at a time when labour retention, cross-border hiring and sustainability reporting remain under close scrutiny.

TCL's reference to employee mobility across regions also reflects a broader trend among large international businesses trying to retain staff by widening career pathways rather than limiting progression to domestic roles. Technology and electronics companies in particular face persistent pressure to recruit specialist talent while managing operations in multiple markets.

The emphasis on sustainability transparency is also notable as investors, regulators and employees place greater weight on how businesses document environmental and social impacts. Long-running ESG and social responsibility reporting has become an increasingly important marker for companies seeking recognition beyond financial results alone.
