STX Next partners with Seerene to bolster software development with AI insights
Wed, 6th Dec 2023

STX Next, an IT services and consulting firm, has forged a new alliance with Seerene, an innovative provider of the first integrated software development process mining platform. This partnership is aimed at augmenting the quality, speed and efficiency of software development within businesses with the backing of AI-enabled insights.

The collaboration between STX Next and Seerene signifies a step forward in the former's commitment to delivering premier digital services to its global clientele. With this partnership, STX Next is well-positioned to expand the scale and complexity of its service portfolio by leveraging essential insights derived from the process mining platform.

Seerene, headquartered in Potsdam, Germany, utilises machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI) to furnish actionable insights on software development processes designed to improve team performance. Its analytics platform integrates data from all software development and delivery aspects, translating this data into Seerene's Digital Boardroom.

Based on over 15 years of academic research from the Hasso Plattner Institute (HPI), Seerene's platform was developed to analyse, visualise and comprehend software development process data. Dr Johannes Bohnet, the CEO and Co-Founder of Seerene, who previously led a research group at HPI, noted that software maps remain a central component of Seerene's offering.

On discussing the new partnership, Dr Bohnet stated, "STX Next boasts a rich and established history of software excellence, demonstrating a proven track record over the years. Our new collaboration with STX Next not only solidifies this tradition but also ensures customers a heightened standard of quality software."

He further highlighted the transparency of the partnership, revealed through an exhaustive view of the complexities of software development processes and existing code bases. He also recognised the shared objectives and commitment to excellence in STX Next and Seerene, which are beneficial in delivering superior value to their client base.

"This partnership is founded on principles of transparency, offering a comprehensive view into the intricacies of software development processes and existing code bases," said Dr Bohnet.

"Aligned with our objectives and fueled by a mutual commitment to excellence, the synergy between Seerene and STX Next promises to deliver unparalleled value to our clients."

STX Next's CEO, Ronald Binkofsi, expressed his enthusiasm about the partnership, highlighting that Seerene's expertise will be intrinsic to enhancing the services provided to clients. He said, "Seerene's expertise and offering will be invaluable to our teams and customers, and no doubt enhances the services that we can deliver for our clients."

"We are committed to improving and maintaining our exceptional standards, and the additional insights offered by Seerene's capabilities are crucial to achieving that aim."

"We're thrilled to announce this partnership, which aligns well with our own objectives and emphasis on collaboration with like-minded organisations. As a company, we are champions of technology's potential to transform businesses, and we look forward to leveraging the Seerene platform's capabilities in our work with customers," said Ronald Binkofsi.
