Sektor partners with SentinelOne to expand cybersecurity in ANZ
Sektor has entered into a distribution agreement with SentinelOne to bring SentinelOne's AI-powered cybersecurity platform to partners throughout Australia and New Zealand.
Under the terms of the partnership, Sektor will provide the SentinelOne Singularity Platform - including Purple AI features such as endpoint protection (EPP/EDR), identity threat detection, AI SIEM, hyperautomation, and cloud security - to resellers and managed security service providers (MSSPs) across the enterprise, government, and mid-market sectors in the region.
The agreement is intended to broaden the availability of SentinelOne's threat protection solutions and aligns with the company's objective to build a more channel-centric ecosystem across Australia and New Zealand.
Compliance and sovereignty
SentinelOne's Singularity Platform has achieved the Australian Signals Directorate's Protected rating under the Information Security Registered Assessors Program (IRAP), meaning it is certified as suitable for sensitive government workloads. This makes the platform relevant to sectors with stringent compliance requirements, including federal agencies, healthcare, critical infrastructure, and financial services.
SentinelOne is a standout addition to our cybersecurity offering," said David Long, General Manager, Cybersecurity at Sektor. "The combination of autonomous threat protection, IRAP 'Protected' status, and a locally hosted data centre gives our partners a solution that's not only powerful but also aligned with strict compliance and sovereignty requirements across Australia and New Zealand."
By hosting its data centre locally, SentinelOne is able to address data sovereignty regulations and offer assurances to customers operating in sensitive environments.
Channel support
Sektor will offer value-added distribution of SentinelOne's platform, with services including technical enablement, go-to-market planning, and solution integration. These efforts will be led by a dedicated SentinelOne practice within Sektor, aiming to speed up the adoption and deployment of SentinelOne technologies among its partners' client bases.
Our partnership with Sektor marks a significant milestone in expanding SentinelOne's reach across Australia and New Zealand," said Keagan Schmitz, Vice President, Channels and Alliances, APJ, SentinelOne. "By combining our AI-powered Singularity Platform with Sektor's deep channel expertise and local presence, we're empowering partners with the technology, enablement, and support they need to deliver scalable, sovereign-compliant cybersecurity outcomes for customers across every sector."
The collaboration is designed to give partners access to tools and support aimed at managing the evolving cyber threat landscape. By coupling SentinelOne technology with Sektor's established presence and experience in the channel, the companies believe partners will be better equipped to address complex security needs.
Expanded footprint
This agreement is expected to increase SentinelOne's exposure to enterprise, mid-market, and government customers across Australasia. The company's offering is positioned around autonomous protection, integrated data solutions, and simplified platform deployment.
Sektor plans to focus on enablement in compliance-critical verticals, particularly where government certifications like the IRAP Protected rating are considered essential.
The channel-centric approach will include the integration of SentinelOne's cybersecurity platform into Sektor's broader portfolio, which already includes solutions for network security, endpoint and email security, identity security, and threat visibility, among others.
Both companies stated their commitment to supporting customers' regulatory obligations and business resilience by focusing on compliance and data sovereignty.
SentinelOne's reach within Australia and New Zealand is set to grow through the agreement, bringing additional support for sectors facing cyber threats and seeking protection with local assurance.
