Dicker Data, Ingram Micro, Datacom, Data#3 and New Era IT were among the winners at this year’s Lenovo Business Partner Gala Awards, held on Saturday.

More than 100 guests turned out for the awards, held at Gibbston Valley in Queenstown, with Ingram Micro New Zealand taking out New Zealand Distributor of the Year and Dicker Data Australia taking out both the Australian Data Centre Group Distributor of the Year and the Australian PC Group Distributor of the Year.

Dicker Data New Zealand added to the distributor’s haul, taking out the ANZ Innovative Distributor of the Year award.

The annual gala dinner brings together the vendor’s top partners across Australia and New Zealand, with 11 awards up for grabs.

Lenovo says winners are selected based on their ability to deliver innovative services, their professionalism and commitment and by demonstrating ‘exceptional customer service to improve cost efficiencies through best practice and enhanced productivity’.

Datacom South Australia took home the ANZ Partner of the Year – Services award while Bearena took out ANZ Partner of the Year for the Data Centre Group, with Spark Digital taking out New Zealand Partner of the Year for the PC Group and Blue Connections taking out the Australian award for the same category.

Data#3’s Taryn Trass took individual honours, winning the 2017 Lenovo Legend Award.

New Era IT’s award came in the ANZ Innovative Partner of the Year, Data Centre Group category, with CDM claiming ANZ Growth Partner of the Year, PC Group.

Matt Codrington, Lenovo Australia and New Zealand managing director, says the awards are an opportunity to look back and celebrate the ‘incredible’ work and dedication shown by partners over the past year.

“We’re thrilled to be able to recognise our colleagues for their exceptional results and ongoing commitment,” Codrington says.
