NiCE Cognigy has been named the only vendor to receive the Customers' Choice distinction in Gartner Peer Insights' Voice of the Customer for Enterprise Conversational AI Platforms, based on verified customer reviews.

The designation makes it the sole vendor placed in the Customers' Choice position in this year's market assessment.

Gartner Peer Insights compiles user feedback from buyers and users of technology products and services. Under the criteria cited by NiCE, vendors in the upper-right Customers' Choice quadrant meet or exceed the market average for user interest and adoption, as well as overall experience.

As of 14 January 2026, Cognigy.AI held a rating of 4.8 out of 5 stars from 138 customer reviews on Gartner Peer Insights.

The reviews indicate a customer base using the software across voice and digital channels. The platform also supports multilingual interactions for enterprise users.

Market Position

The latest recognition adds to NiCE Cognigy's standing in a market where businesses are weighing conversational AI tools against analyst research and peer feedback. It has also again been named a Leader in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Enterprise Conversational AI Platforms, which assesses providers on completeness of vision and ability to execute.

That combination matters because procurement teams often use both analyst rankings and customer reviews when comparing suppliers. In this case, the Peer Insights distinction reflects direct end-user feedback rather than analyst scoring alone.

Enterprise conversational AI platforms have become a closely watched part of customer service technology as companies try to automate routine queries and help staff handle more complex cases. Suppliers in the sector are under pressure to show not only technical performance, but also evidence that large organisations can deploy the systems successfully and continue using them over time.

NiCE views the result as a sign of customer trust and successful deployment among enterprise users. It said the reviews show adoption by organisations using conversational AI in customer experience operations.

Executive Comment

Philipp Heltewig commented on the result.

"To us, being recognized as the only Customers' Choice vendor is a powerful validation because it comes directly from the people who rely on our platform every day. Our users' trust drives everything we build. This distinction reinforces our commitment to delivering AI agents that elevate customer experiences and support service teams globally," said Philipp Heltewig, Chief AI Officer, NiCE.

NiCE Cognigy is part of NiCE, which sells customer experience and automation software to organisations in more than 150 countries. The business has been expanding its AI-related offerings as competition intensifies among software groups serving contact centres and wider service operations.

Customer Feedback

The Gartner Peer Insights framework is designed to present aggregated end-user views alongside detailed individual reviews. That makes the programme relevant for technology buyers looking for references from companies already using a product in production environments.

For vendors in conversational AI, that feedback can shape buying decisions because it speaks to implementation experience as well as user satisfaction. Buyers are increasingly interested in whether tools can handle both voice and digital interactions, support multiple languages, and fit into existing service workflows.

NiCE said Cognigy.AI combines generative AI, conversational AI, and automation in a single platform. It said the system is used to create AI agents that can resolve some enquiries on their own while also assisting human agents in real time.

The announcement did not disclose financial terms or customer names. Instead, it focused on Cognigy.AI's position in the Gartner Peer Insights report and its user review score.

The distinction gives NiCE Cognigy a reference point in a crowded software segment where customer testimony has become a visible part of market competition. Its score stood at 4.8 out of 5 stars from 138 ratings on Gartner Peer Insights.
