New ANZ channel director for Riverbed

Following the recent announcement of its updated Partner Program, Riverbed has appointed a new channel director to oversee operations for its Australia and New Zealand business as the company continues to focus on growth in region.

Former NetApp channel development manager Charles de Jesus will take up the senior position, responsible for overseeing Riverbed’s Partner Program as well the launch of pilot programmes for manager services sold via the channel.

“Charles has the industry expertise and local market knowledge to lead the next phase of Riverbed’s channel strategy in A/NZ,” says Keith Buckley, regional vice president Australia and New Zealand at Riverbed Technology.

“Partners are more important than ever to our growth – particularly during this age of digital transformation that is rapidly changing the business landscape,” Buckley explains.

In the channel development manager role at at NetApp, de Jesus successfully improved partner profitability and engagement, as well as implementing the firm’s strategic partner steering committee, he says.

“Charles will be pivotal to the education and enablement of our partners as we continue to build embedded solutions and services programmes, drive joint engagement, and accelerate repeatable revenue in the smaller enterprise and mid-markets,” says Buckley.
