MSP SaaS provider expands its presence into APAC and A/NZ

IT Glue is expanding its international footprint into the Asia Pacific (APAC) and Australia/New Zealand (A/NZ) regions.

The company is excited with the expansion, which includes the hiring of two ‘industry veterans’, Martin Ashby and Sim Bong. Ashby will hold the reins of managing director for APAC, while Bong will serve as director of sales for A/NZ.

According to IT Glue, both men have deep roots in the IT industry and have been key players at one of IT Glue’s largest partners, Kaseya, for many years.

Ashby is also a co-founder of BYG Advantage, a company specialising in APAC business development that lends itself nicely to IT Glue’s expansion goals for the region.

While expansion in the APAC region is a key move for IT Glue, the company says it already maintains a strong presence in A/NZ, after more than tripling its partner base over the past year.

"Our expansion into APAC and ANZ is a testament to the incredible momentum IT Glue is experiencing on the international stage," says IT Glue CEO, Chris Day. 

"Having a product that is purpose-built for MSPs from a company with deep roots in the MSP industry, has allowed us to leverage key partners who intrinsically understand the critical pain points it solves for MSPs everywhere. Asia-Pacific is a huge market for us and I'm thrilled to have Martin and Sim on board to help us make our mark there."

Originally launched in North America in 2014, IT Glue has experienced ‘rapid growth’ since then and now with the latest international expansion considers itself as a truly global organisation.
