Milestone chooses Australia to launch 2026 MXD series

Thu, 19th Feb 2026

Milestone Systems has chosen Australia as the first stop in its global Milestone XPerience Days series for 2026, with the South Pacific event scheduled for March in Port Douglas, Queensland.

The two-day gathering will be held at the Sheraton Grand Mirage Resort and will serve as Milestone's main regional partner meeting for the year. Resellers, distributors and technology partners from across the South Pacific are expected to attend.

The event also marks a shift in format. After running a multi-city roadshow in the region last year, Milestone is moving to a single destination, aiming to spend more concentrated time with partners and deliver more structured sessions.

Agenda focus

The agenda will include product updates and solution launches across XProtect, BriefCam and Arcules, along with sessions on AI-driven video analytics and video intelligence.

The programme will feature customer case studies and hands-on workshops covering deployment and integration. Networking is also a core element, with time set aside for partner meetings and informal discussions.

A Technology Partner Showcase is set to include Axis Communications, Inner Range, i-PRO, Conexao, Secure Logiq and Zenitel, among others, with a focus on integrated products and deployments built around Milestone's platform.

Open platform

Milestone develops video management software, along with analytics and cloud services. Its event messaging centres on an open-platform approach that enables third parties to integrate products and applications into Milestone systems.

Milestone says this approach extends beyond security into operational settings, citing use cases such as situational awareness, business intelligence and operational efficiency.

Jordan Cullis, Regional Director for Milestone Systems South Pacific, said the event is intended to be a focal point for the regional ecosystem.

"MXD is about bringing our entire partner community together in one place to share knowledge, explore what's next, and strengthen the relationships that underpin our growth in the region," Cullis said.

He also linked Australia's selection as the first location in the global series to market conditions in Oceania.

"Launching our global XPerience Days program in Australia reflects the maturity of the Oceania market. This event helps partners leverage our unified XProtect, BriefCam, and Arcules portfolio alongside our open platform ecosystem to unlock new opportunities and deliver measurable customer outcomes," Cullis said.

Partner access

Partners attending in Port Douglas will have access to Milestone's executive leadership team and product specialists. Sessions are expected to cover product roadmaps, partner strategy and go-to-market planning for the year ahead.

Technology partners will also play a prominent role, with demonstrations and presentations expected to cover deployments across critical infrastructure, transport, education, logistics, government and commercial environments.

MXD forms part of Milestone's broader engagement model with channel and integration partners. The company sells and deploys through a network of resellers, distributors and manufacturers providing cameras, access control, communications and related equipment.

Milestone is based in Copenhagen and was founded in 1998. It employs more than 1,500 people worldwide and has operated as an independent company within the Canon Group since 2014.

Partners interested in attending MXD South Pacific 2026 are asked to contact their Milestone representative. Milestone is also accepting enquiries from technology partners interested in exhibiting at the event.
