Martello and Mitel renew and extend their partnership
Martello has entered into an Amended Agreement with key partner Mitel, laying out the commercial terms under which it provides the Mitel Performance Analytics (MPA) software for sale to Mitel customers and partners.
In addition, the latest version of the agreement applies to enterprise-wide Mitel sales of MPA, which will make the commercial licensing model to provide greater operational efficiency more straightforward.
It will also make it easier for partners and customers while extending the contract term to three years with automatic two-year renewals, subject to certain conditions set out in the Amended Agreement.
"We are happy to be able to extend our longstanding relationship with Martello through this agreement which will give even more of our customers access to the comprehensive unified communications network metrics MPA provides," Mitel product management senior vice president Martin Bitzinger says.
"As an important value-added tool for Mitel partners and customers, MPA delivers the best available insights and performance data to ensure simplified monitoring and management of the real-time communications networks our customers rely on every day."
Martello has worked with Mitel for over a decade to provide its performance analytics software for Mitel's enterprise customers and partners, signing the original agreement in March 2012.
The companies have made subsequent amendments, with the last version signed in January 2019.
"Together with Mitel, we have built a base of thousands of customers representing millions of users under management around the world, who rely on MPA to ensure that their communications systems work reliably no matter what is happening in the network infrastructure," Martello president and CEO John Proctor says.
"We're pleased to extend this agreement and strengthen an important Martello business relationship."
MPA is available as part of the Mitel Premium Software Assurance offering as well as the MiVoice Business Subscription and MiCloud Flex.
The extension of this partnership comes after Martello launched its Vantage DX solution in the Microsoft Azure Marketplace in February.
Martello customers can now take advantage of the Azure cloud platform, which has been described as 'productive and trusted' with streamlined deployment and management.
Vantage DX is a single platform DEM suite designed to optimise the Microsoft 365 and Teams user experience for today's hybrid workplaces.
It provides user experience monitoring and analytics capabilities, for instance. As a result, IT teams can rapidly prioritise and resolve performance issues such as network bandwidth or ISP limitations that impact the user experience, the company states.
Additionally, IT can proactively optimise future performance for users. Whether the user is working from home, the office, or anywhere in between, Vantage DX provides actionable insight into Microsoft Teams and Microsoft 365 performance, reducing IT support tickets and mean time to repair.
Martello's software products include Vantage DX, as well as solutions for Microsoft 365 and more.
