Juniper Networks exec Jason Baden is jumping ship after eight years, landing the senior director for Brocade’s Australia and New Zealand business.

Based in Sydney, Baden is tasked with driving the company’s business is the ANZ region.

“As we continue to build on our leadership as a pure-play networking company, ANZ is a strategic market for Brocade and our soon to be integrated Ruckus Wireless business,” comments Adam Judd, vice president for APJ at Brocade.

“Jason’s demonstrated leadership skills and track record as a challenger and disruptor naturally align with Brocade’s commitment to help customers capitalise on network innovation to transform their business,” he says.

Prior to Juniper Networks, Baden held various business development and strategic account roles at AXS-One, Airwide Solutions, and Optus.

Baden says of the company, “No other networking vendor is as uniquely placed as Brocade is today. It is 100% focused on developing innovative and comprehensive solutions for network transformation,” he says.

“It’s an exciting time to join Brocade, and I look forward to helping our customers move to New IP network architectures that are virtualised, open, and agile, as they leverage next-generation technology opportunities for a competitive advantage.”
