Infosys & Telstra forge partnership to accelerate IT evolution

Infosys has announced a multi-year strategic collaboration with Telstra, the Australia telecommunications and technology firm. The objective of this collaboration is to expedite Telstra's software engineering and IT transformation journey while enhancing its customer experience. This venture supports Telstra's overall business strategy, leveraging on their established association.

The collaboration will incorporate Infosys' AI-first suite of offerings, Infosys Topaz, and their cloud suite of offerings, Infosys Cobalt. These will provide a strong engineering backbone that will simplify the technology landscape and facilitate Telstra's ongoing transformation into an innovation-led enterprise. Alongside, Infosys aims to introduce modern product engineering practices to optimize its customer and staff experience.

Kim Krogh Andersen, Group Executive, Product and Technology at Telstra, explained the significance of strategic partnerships in this digital age, stating, "Consumers around the world have substantially increased their expectations when it comes to the seamless, digital delivery of their products and services. As we approach the tipping point of Generative AI and a surge of digital adoption, strategic partnerships with global leaders such as Infosys are critical to support our shared ambitions for digital leadership."

Kieran O'Meara, Executive, Software Engineering and IT at Telstra, highlighted the longstanding partnership between both companies, "Telstra and Infosys have been partners for over 20 years, a collaboration that has yielded immense value for both organisations. The renewal of this collaboration transforms how we work together more strategically for the next wave of change in our industry."
