imei unveils imei 360 portal to streamline device management

Thu, 3rd Jul 2025

imei has launched imei 360, a portal for organisations to manage mobile device ecosystems across their operations.

The imei 360 portal consolidates five modules—Intelligence, iControl, iReport, Expense Manager, and iStore—into a unified digital platform. Each module is designed to address specific aspects of enterprise mobility, supporting real-time management and oversight of mobile devices and related services.

Platform overview

imei 360 features a single interface intended to support the accuracy, consistency, and strategic alignment of mobile device management at scale. With its modular design, the platform provides users and administrators with tools for visibility and control through a 'one pane of glass' approach.

Kieran Kirkpatrick, Chief Technology Officer at imei, highlighted the development history and the aim of consolidating management capabilities.

"imei 360 is the modern evolution of imei's proprietary management tools, developed and refined over the last 20 years, and brings together the key tools for users and managers in one place and onto one pane of glass."

Features and modules

The Intelligence dashboard within imei 360 offers interactive, instantaneous views of usage trends, expenditure, and user information, and includes options to drill down for detailed insights that inform communications strategies. This is intended as the principal access point for communications managers, providing a high-level overview as well as the facility for detailed analysis.

iControl enables the management and configuration of mobile services, such as the activation and deactivation of international roaming, suspension or cancellation of services, and updates to user details. The tool is structured to facilitate moves, adds, changes, and deletions (MACDs) in near real time by administrators, department managers, and procurement personnel.

iReport supports point-in-time, exportable reporting, covering the mobile fleet, hardware orders, telecommunications connections, and support cases. This feature provides administrators with up-to-date, granular information as required.

The Expense Manager module addresses carrier billing and cost control, enabling users to assign expenses to specific business departments, projects, or individuals. The tool also supports automated bill reporting by the user or the manager. It can incorporate multiple carrier accounts, extending to both mobile communications and additional services such as data lines and fixed voice communications.

iStore introduces a new procurement process, allowing the ordering and management of organisation-approved devices and plans. User profiles are integrated to ensure employees are provided with equipment appropriate to their role. The interface is intended to streamline the purchasing process, reducing the time required for procurement procedures.

Customer-driven approach

Tim Fussell, Founder and Chief Executive Officer at imei, commented on the motivation and development process that led to the launch of this platform.

"We listened to our clients on the challenges of managing a modern mobile ecosystem and took decisive action to harmonise managing mobile fleets, improve governance, and provide timely insights into fleets and plans from the one unified space. With imei 360, mobile fleet managers can now shift their focus from data wrangling to value creation."

Security and availability

The platform is built using technology compliant with the Essential Eight framework, featuring secure individual logins and a high-availability architectural approach, designed to meet the operational and security requirements of large enterprises.

imei 360 is currently accessible to over 250 existing managed services customers and is available to new mid-sized and large organisations seeking to improve oversight and management of their communications assets.
