Hewlett-Packard Enterprise celebrated its partners at the annual Hewlett-Packard Enterprise Partner Executive Conference, held in Queenstown recently, with five partners returning home with silverware as well as happy memories.

Sixty partners attended the three-day conference, which brought together thought leaders, analysts and leading solutions providers to discuss trends and share ideas on best practice in innovation, business technology solutions and consumption models.

Klikon Solutions was named Partner of the Year 2015 with Dicker Data taking home the award for Distributor of the Year 2015.

The awards, which recognise business excellence, also saw Datacom Systems Australia named New Style of Business Partner of the Year 2015, while Dimension Data won Strategic Business Partner of the Year 2015.

Last, but certainly not least, was NEC IT Services, who was named Software Cloud Partner of the Year 2015.

The conference, which this year was themed around ‘Transforming for Growth' gave partners unprecedented access to HP executives and experts from industry and business.

Jim Merritt, senior vice president for Enterprise Group and managing director for Hewlett-Packard Asia Pacific and Japan provided a keynote address, along with Kaaren Lewis, HP Australia director, indirect sales – channel, SMB and alliance.

The partners also had a chance to connect with other South Pacific channel partners, and share ideas around how to remain competitive and sustain growth.

The conference came just weeks from the official split of HP into two separate entities.
