FYI, this story is more than a year old

Last week, HP Australia hosted its annual partner and customer event, HP Evolution, at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre.

Held on Tuesday 3 April and Wednesday 4 April, the event was specially designed to provide guests with a first-hand look at what the future holds for consumers and businesses, across AI and emerging compute, immersive experiences, security, and print adjacencies and 3D.

Along with showcasing the latest HP technology, HP Evolution offered marketing, manufacturing, gaming, and education professionals a view into how their industries are transforming through technology, and how they can stay ahead of consumer and business demand.

In his first HP Evolution keynote as managing director for South Pacific, Mike Boyle spoke about his excitement in leading HP in the region and his commitment to working closely with HP's customers, and channel and alliance partners. He also discussed:

  • Our digital future and the importance of understanding the challenges and opportunities it presents

  • Arming the next generation with the skills they need to succeed

  • The impact of the Fourth Industrial Revolution on Australian businesses

  • HP's impact over 80 years and its ongoing commitment to consumers and businesses

Mike was accompanied by industry thought leaders including Professor Genevieve Bell, Director of the 3A Institute at ANU, Sandra Ng, Group Vice President - Practice Group at IDC Asia/Pacific, and Chandrakant Patel, Chief Engineer and Senior Fellow at HP.
