Gallagher unveils AccessNow at busy Sydney security tradeshow

Tue, 2nd Sep 2025

Gallagher Security presented its latest access control and perimeter protection technologies to industry professionals at the 2025 Security Exhibition and Conference in Sydney.

The company previewed AccessNow, a cloud-based platform designed to streamline and automate access requests, which generated significant interest among attendees at what is described as Australia's largest security tradeshow.

Craig Schutte, Executive Vice President for APAC and IMEA, reflected on the engagement at the event.

"It was fantastic to be back at the Security Exhibition and Conference for another year, and to catch up with our peers, industry partners, customers, and the many attendees who visited our stand. We spoke to plenty of people interested in learning more about our products, and we were particularly thrilled by the response to AccessNow,"

he said.

Gallagher Security also introduced its new fence controllers, labelled F5 and F6, which are due to be available later in the year. The company states that these next-generation controllers offer enhanced detection accuracy, improved power efficiency, and greater flexibility for system integration.

During the three-day event, the Gallagher stand was consistently busy, according to Nicola Johnson, National Events Manager – Australia. Johnson highlighted the value of in-person interactions and the shared knowledge among colleagues.

"Our busy stand was supported by 35 Gallagher team members from across Australia and New Zealand, which provided a great opportunity to bring the team together to learn and share market knowledge,"

Johnson said.

The company organised a Gallagher Security Partner Connect networking event which, according to Johnson, was the company's largest such gathering in Australia, with over 240 industry professionals attending.

"We also held our Gallagher Security Partner Connect event on Wednesday evening after a busy day at the expo, which gave over 240 industry professionals a fantastic opportunity to catch up and network. It also marked our biggest networking event to date in Australia.
"A big thanks to our fantastic event sponsors Ecos Systems, Entrust, Hexagon, Penguin Solutions, and Traka for making this such a memorable event."

Gallagher's presence at the tradeshow included demonstrations of Employee Badge in Apple Wallet, Security Made Better (SMB), OneLink, High Security solutions, and the latest Command Centre v9.30 software, with members of the senior leadership team in attendance.

Schutte addressed the wider significance of the event for the company and industry stakeholders:

"Events such as these reaffirm our commitment to innovation, and the strong partnerships we are proud to have across the Australian market,"

He further commented on the company's expanding presence in the region and ongoing industry engagement:

"Our footprint continues to grow in Australia. We're proud to share our award-winning solutions and connect with our incredible community including Channel Partners, End Users, Consultants, and Technology Partners.
"Events like the Security Exhibition and Conference are more than just showcases. They're a chance to strengthen relationships, and support collaboration and innovation in the security industry."
