Flock Consulting appoints Matt Hemens as Head of Sales

Flock Consulting has announced the appointment of Matt Hemens as its new Head of Sales, aiming to drive growth and strategic expansion in New Zealand and Australia.

Matt Hemens joins Flock Consulting bringing with him over 20 years of experience in technology sales and leadership. Previously, he served as the South Island Group Sales Lead at Spark, where he managed a team of 30 sales and technology professionals supporting significant government, enterprise, and corporate clients. His career spans various roles at Teamtalk, TelstraClear, Orion Health, Canon, and Spark Group companies, including Telecom, Gen-i, CCL and Spark Business Group. Arriving in New Zealand in 1996, he is also a former British Army officer and a respected figure within the country's technology sector.

In his new role at Flock Consulting, Hemens will be responsible for leading the company's sales strategy, focusing on forging strong client relationships and facilitating growth as the company bolsters its presence in the data and analytics field. This appointment comes in response to the rising demand for data-driven decision-making and business transformation across multiple industries.
