emt and Axiomatics forge distribution partnership for Asia and ANZ regions
emt Distribution, a rhipe company, has announced that it has signed a strategic distribution partnership agreement with Axiomatics, the provider of runtime, fine-grained dynamic authorisation delivered with Attribute Based Access Control (ABAC).
According to the company, this agreement will expand Axiomatics' reach into the Japan, APAC and Oceania region.
emt Distribution states organisations are increasingly turning to zero trust and other modern cybersecurity approaches to protect themselves against increasing cyber risk and exposure.
Many organisations are also under increased regulatory pressure to meet cybersecurity standards requiring them to tighten controls around user access rights.
As they implement these approaches, they are running up against the limitations of traditional Role Based Access Control (RBAC) and looking to Attribute Based Access Control (ABAC) solutions that support a more granular and dynamic approach to authorisation.
Axiomatics president and chief commercial officer Jim Barkdoll says, "For more than 15 years, we've worked with some of the world's most complex, global enterprises, placing dynamic authorisation at the core of their access management strategies.
"We're pleased to work with emt Distribution to extend our expertise, ensuring enterprises in Japan, APAC and Oceania leverage our platforms to provide access to the right users, at the right time, in the right locations, while adhering to compliance regulations."
Enterprises and government agencies use the Axiomatics Authorization Platform for Applications and the Axiomatics Authorization Platform for Databases to support a wide range of business objectives.
The company's industry-leading ABAC capabilities are a critical piece of a successful access management strategy, safeguarding sensitive data and processes and ensuring enterprises are able to adhere to global privacy and compliance regulations in real time.
emt Distribution, a leading value-added distributor, offers cybersecurity solutions that address the Australian Signals Directorate's top four mitigation strategies as well as the broader strategies in the Australian Governments Information Security Manual (ISM), many of which rely on strong, granular access controls.
The pandemic has necessitated a rapid change in information infrastructures and many organisations have had to rethink their approaches to authorisation," says Richard Rundle, Group Executive, emt Distribution, a rhipe company.
He says, "Securing hybrid working environments and a switch to cloud-based applications and services have forced enterprises to implement more dynamic and granular access controls.
"Axiomatics and its innovative solutions put enterprises in a much better position to securely share sensitive, valuable and regulated digital assets but only to authorised users and in the right context.
"We are delighted to be building a robust channel for Axiomatics in Asia, Australia and New Zealand, and offering all the value added services required to help our partners meet the growing demand for solutions."
emt now offers the full range of solutions from Axiomatics and value-added services including pre and post-sales support, channel development, engaged sales processes and marketing assistance to channel partners, MSPs and MSSPs.
The agreement with emt Distribution, a rhipe company, further extends the distribution network of Axiomatics which already covers EMEA and North America.
