Earnix welcomes Daniel Shalom as new Chief Information Security Officer

Earnix, in its ongoing commitment to cybersecurity excellence, has announced the appointment of its new Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), Daniel Shalom. Shalom is expected to solidify Earnix's efforts to stay ahead of security challenges. Shalom possesses an impressive cybersecurity background, boasting over two decades of expertise across both military and civil sectors. His considerable experience and profound knowledge are anticipated to serve as a significant asset as Earnix seeks to build an even more resilient future for its organisation and clients.

Shalom's career commenced as a Major in the Israeli Air Force, where he tackled cyber threats and incidents head-on. He later transitioned to Citadel, a cybersecurity consulting firm, dedicating an impressive 13 years to the forefront of cyber defence. While at Citadel, Shalom earned a promotion to VP of Customer and Projects. During his tenure, he engaged with a broad clientele base, including significant Israeli financial institutions such as Bank of Israel, Bank HaPoalim, and Harel Insurance. Shalom also previously offered his expertise as a CISO for several leading investment companies in Israel.

Shalom also holds a Bachelor's degree in law from Ono Academic College. His experience and credentials demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the complex cybersecurity landscape in the fast-paced financial sector, making him well-suited for his new role with Earnix. His appointment is earmarked to fortify Earnix's security strategy, ensuring it remains at the forefront of technological applications in the financial services sector.
