Dynatrace unveils real-time observability for AWS agentic AI

Thu, 20th Nov 2025

Dynatrace has launched its integration with Amazon Bedrock AgentCore, providing Amazon Web Services customers with real-time observability into autonomous agents and their activity across AWS services.

The solution is now generally available and offers monitoring, auditing, and optimisation capabilities for agentic workflows.

Real-time insight

The integration enables teams to capture detailed telemetry from AI agents operating within Bedrock AgentCore.

This data is converted into actionable insights, which aim to assist teams in monitoring agent reliability and responsiveness at a granular level.

Developers can set up intelligent alerts around key metrics and visualise interactions between agents and services through a live topology map.

Debugging and compliance processes have been included in the feature set, allowing businesses to identify issues across distributed agent workflows and support governance requirements in AI-driven systems.

Addressing visibility

Autonomous AI agents are increasingly used to automate complex tasks across cloud environments, but understanding their behaviour and performance has been historically limited. The new integration aims to address this visibility gap, offering a comprehensive view into the state and activity of agentic architectures within AWS.

The capabilities are designed to help organisations oversee agentic system compliance, trace agent decisions, and optimise performance in near real time.

Dynatrace is amongst the earliest observability providers supporting this capability at launch, working to meet rising demand for transparency and control in AI operations.

Adoption support

The integration is positioned to help enterprises scale up agentic and generative AI projects by supporting developer, cloud architect, and operations teams.

According to Dynatrace, the combined telemetry and analytics features should enable enterprises to deploy agentic workflows with increased confidence. The integration also supports deployment simplification and aids in establishing reliability and auditability as standard practice in autonomous agent environments.

"At Storio group, we're committed to leveraging AI to drive smarter, more responsive digital experiences. Dynatrace's integration with Amazon Bedrock AgentCore gives us the real-time observability we need to confidently scale agentic architectures. It's a powerful step forward in building intelligent systems that are both reliable and secure," said Alex Hibbitt, Engineering Director, Customer Platform, Storio group.

Transparency emphasis

As organisations move towards deploying agentic architectures to advance automation and AI service capabilities, oversight and troubleshooting become increasingly critical.

Dynatrace's integration provides observability that supports greater operational transparency, aiming to build trust between teams deploying AI solutions.

"As agentic architectures redefine how enterprises build and operate intelligent systems, observability becomes the foundation for trust and innovation. Our integration with Amazon Bedrock AgentCore delivers the transparency and insight teams need to confidently scale autonomous AI, helping them accelerate delivery with greater reliability," said Steve Tack, Chief Product Officer, Dynatrace.
