BillingPlatform wins top customer satisfaction accolades from IDC
BillingPlatform has received the IDC 2024 SaaS Award for Customer Satisfaction in Subscription Management. This accolade was based on results from IDC's SaaS Path survey, which evaluated nearly 2,900 global enterprises and more than 24 vendors in the billing and subscription management market.
Out of the 24 vendors assessed, BillingPlatform achieved its highest ratings in several categories, including Fast Time to Value, Proven Track Record in Digital Business, Ease of Integration, Robust Data Security, and Product Roadmap Visibility.
IDC's customer satisfaction award programme recognises software-as-a-service vendors that receive the highest customer satisfaction scores. The SaaS Path survey, conducted globally, asked approximately 2,900 organisations to rate their vendors across more than 30 different customer satisfaction metrics.
The survey revealed that 56.8% of global organisations anticipate an increase in their spending on SaaS subscription management solutions within the next 12 months. Key areas of additional expenditure include innovative capabilities such as AI/ML and analytics, additional modules, functionality, and professional services. Additionally, 91.2% of respondents indicated that the value derived from their SaaS subscription management solution had met or exceeded their expectations, highlighting a strong return on investment in the technology.
Dennis Wall, CEO of BillingPlatform, said, "Winning this award after IDC's analysis of 24 other vendors is even more meaningful because it is based directly on ratings and input from global enterprises that are using subscription management solutions. Our high ratings in terms of fast time to value, digital business experience, out-of-the-box integrations, robust security, and innovative product roadmap illustrate our focus on delivering customer value and return on investment."
BillingPlatform's platform supports a wide range of industries such as software, finance, media, entertainment, and communications. It enables enterprises to monetise various product offerings, from simple subscriptions to complex usage-based pricing models. The platform offers full lifecycle support of the monetisation process, from product setup, quoting, billing, and invoicing to revenue recognition, payment, and collections, all on a cloud-based system.
This is another accolade for BillingPlatform this year, adding to its recognition as a Leader in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Recurring Billing Applications and Forrester's Wave for SaaS Recurring Billing Solutions. The company was also awarded the highest overall rating in the MGI 360 Ratings Report for Agile Billing, recognised as the Overall Leader and an Exemplary Vendor in Ventana Research's Subscription Management Value Index report, and included in Constellation Research's Smart Services Digital Monetization Platforms ShortList for 2024. Other honours include being named as a fast-growing company in Deloitte's Technology Fast 500 for four consecutive years and receiving the Best Subscription Billing Solution award from SIIA for two consecutive years at the CODiE Awards.
