Tech Data (the former Avnet) signs distie deal with Zadara Storage

Tech Data today announced an agreement with Zadara Storage.

Technology Solutions, once a division of Avnet and now part of Tech Data, will make Zadara Storage solutions easily accessible to channel partners worldwide through its Avnet Cloud Marketplace.

These solutions are centred around enterprise grade storage-as-a-service in any location (cloud, on-premise or hybrid) supporting any data type and connecting to any protocol.

The Avnet Cloud Marketplace enables Technology Solutions partners, including value-added resellers (VARs), independent software vendors (ISVs), managed service providers (MSPs) and system integrators (SIs), easy access to products like the Zadara Storage Cloud.

Technology Solutions partners now have access to the portfolio of Zadara Storage block, file and object storage services.

The market is certainly booming for storage-as-a-service (STaaS) solutions, as research from industry analyst firm IT Brand Pulse reveals the public cloud STaaS market is growing at approximately 25 percent every year, and forecast to capture a whopping 25 percent of enterprise storage spending by 2020.
