FYI, this story is more than a year old

Synnex Australia has inked a distribution deal with Vertiv – formerly Emerson Network Power – to provide resellers with the vendor's full power protection portfolio.

The two companies say they will also work together to address concerns on infrastructure uptime as well as power availability and efficiency for customers throughout Australia.

Kee Ong, Synnex Australia chief executive officer, says the deal will provide Synnex resellers with more choice and a broader solution set in the critical infrastructure space.

Synnex will carry the full range of Vertiv's power protection offerings, including the Liebert GXT4 and the Liebert ITA on-line UPS'.

Vertiv says the deal will strengthen its presence in the local ICT industry, through the expansion of its nationwide distribution line-up.

Mo Kandeel, Vertiv Australia and New Zealand channel director, says data centers are becoming increasingly complex because of emerging technology trends which are transforming how businesses manage their critical infrastructure.

“Uptime and availability remain a major concern for our customers here in Australia, that's why we are further expanding our national distribution network for our power protection portfolio, bringing our industry-leading solutions to more businesses in the region,” Kandeel says.

“Synnex is highly respected in the local industry and we look forward to leveraging on this to take our businesses further,” he says.
