Roboyo names Ignasi Peiris as automation engineering manager
Roboyo has announced the appointment of Ignasi Peiris as the Automation Engineering Manager for its Australian operations. This move aims to enhance local UiPath capabilities and drive the adoption of hyperautomation across the region.
Ignasi Peiris, who has been part of Roboyo's global team since 2019, will be stationed in Brisbane. His expertise in designing and implementing automation solutions spans various sectors. In 2023, Peiris received the UiPath Most Valuable Professional (MVP) award for his significant contributions, innovation, and evangelism within the automation community. He also holds the UiPath Certified Professional Advanced RPA Developer (UiARD) Certification and the UiPath Certified Automation Business Analyst (UiABA).
In his new role, Peiris aims to elevate the local automation practice's expertise by driving best practices and enhancing Roboyo's approach in delivering quality, value, and innovation to Australian businesses. He will work closely with the local UiPath community and collaborate with peers in the US and Europe to share best practices. Additionally, Peiris will continue leveraging cutting-edge technology through partnerships, including with conversational AI provider DRUID.
Dan Cooke, Chief Business Officer of Roboyo Australia, stated, "We are committed to leading the charge in driving adoption of intelligent automation in Australia and across Asia Pacific, in partnership with UiPath. Ignasi's appointment further cements our capabilities as a major UiPath technology evangelist and enabler in the region. The synergy between Roboyo's strategic approach and UiPath's powerful automation tools means that local businesses can achieve significant operational improvements and better overall outcomes."
Roboyo's acquisition of low-code app services provider Procensol in 2022 has led to substantial growth. The Australian team has seen double-digit revenue growth over the past year. The automation experts at Roboyo deliver digital transformation and automation solutions, providing clients and partners access to a global network comprising over 300 robotic process automation (RPA) professionals.
Cooke added, "Our enhanced capabilities in RPA and process excellence position us as the right partner for Asia Pacific organisations to drive hyper transformation while providing 24x7 support through our global and local managed services team."
Peiris commented on the impact of hyperautomation, stating, "Hyperautomation is a true game-changer, as evidenced by the successful implementations we've achieved for large organisations in Europe and the US. We have seen businesses across different sectors drive efficiency, reduce costs, and elevate both employee and customer satisfaction."
He expressed enthusiasm for his new role in Australia, saying, "I am thrilled for the opportunity to draw on my global experience and deep knowledge of intelligent automation to ensure our solutions in Australia cater to the needs of our clients, promote greater adoption of technical best practices, and ultimately drive improved business outcomes for our customers."
