Roborock wins Canstar award as new robot vacuums launch
Fri, 6th Nov 2026 (Today)
Roborock has won Canstar's 2026 Most Satisfied Customers Award for robot vacuums and was the only brand to receive five stars in every survey category.
Canstar surveyed 354 Australians about robot vacuums they had owned or used in the previous three years. Respondents rated brands on overall satisfaction, performance, features and functionality, battery and charging performance, design, ease of use, and value for money.
The result gives Roborock a consumer endorsement in the competitive household appliances segment, where brands are trying to differentiate on cleaning performance, navigation and automation. Australian customers rated it highest overall among the robot vacuum brands included in the study.
Danni Li, Marketing Lead at Roborock, linked the award to the company's product development approach.
"We are honoured to have received Canstar's Most Satisfied Customer Award. At Roborock, we have always defined success by how much we can reduce the complexity of daily chores, giving customers more time to spend on what they love. Consumer centricity is a core value, and our R&D team places a strong emphasis on using real customer feedback to shape what comes next. We look at what customers love, what they don't, what is slowing them down at home, and what they wish they had from these products. This award is particularly special because it has been decided by the people who actually use robotic vacuums. That tells us we are doing something right," said Danni Li, Marketing Lead at Roborock.
New models
The award comes alongside the Australian launch of two new Roborock models: the Saros 20 Flow and the Qrevo Edge 2 Flow. Both use the company's SpiraFlow 2.0 roller mop system, which distributes clean water across the roller mop and is cited as delivering a 99% bacterial removal rate.
The Saros 20 Flow is aimed at homes with mixed flooring and more complex layouts. It has an 8.98cm body, 36,000 Pa suction, and a system called AdaptiLift Traverse 3.0, which can climb double-layer thresholds up to 8.8cm.
It also includes AI RGB recognition to identify floor surfaces and types of mess, adjusting cleaning accordingly. Its DuoDivide Main Brush and Dual Lifting Side Brushes are claimed to achieve a 0% hair tangling rate, while its RockDock includes 100°C pressurised mop washing and automated detergent dispensing.
Broader range
The Qrevo Edge 2 Flow is positioned as a lower-priced model in the same product cycle. It combines an 8.98cm profile with 35,000 Pa suction and the upgraded SpiraFlow 2.0 system.
Designed for everyday cleaning and pet hair collection, the model is cited as delivering a 100% hair pick-up rate on floors and a 15% higher pet hair pick-up rate. AI RGB recognition is used to identify floor types and spills and adjust water flow. The roller mop can lift up to 15mm on carpet, and the model also includes an Automatic Roller Shield intended to prevent drips on soft flooring.
In Australia, the Saros 20 Flow is priced at AUD $2,499 and the Qrevo Edge 2 Flow at AUD $1,999. The release of the two machines suggests Roborock is seeking to cover both the premium end of the category and buyers looking for a lower entry price without moving out of the market's upper tier.
Roborock also pointed to its scale beyond Australia. According to the company, IDC ranked it the world's number one robotic vacuum cleaner brand by unit shipments and sales value in the first half of 2026. Its products are sold in more than 170 countries and regions and used in 30 million households globally.
Canstar's methodology for the award was based on customer scores for value for money, features and functionality, design, ease of use, performance, and battery and charging performance. The overall winner was the brand Australians rated highest on the measures they considered most important.
