Restive appoints Seb Amielh as Executive Director in Sydney
Restive has announced the appointment of Seb Amielh as the Executive Director in Sydney, a newly-created role aimed at bolstering the tech consultancy's ongoing national growth. Amielh, who will be based at Restive's Sydney office, is set to join the leadership team and will oversee various aspects including client strategy, operations, new business initiatives, and people development.
Stuart Oliver, the Founder and Managing Director of Restive, expressed his enthusiasm for Amielh's appointment. "I've known and worked with Seb for more than eight years, so I'm thrilled he's joining us. Seb is highly passionate about delivering digital transformation for companies in highly competitive environments, and having worked with him previously, I know firsthand that he's a great fit with our people and our clients," Oliver stated.
"Our team has grown significantly over the past four years, and there's more to come as we continue to expand our base in Sydney. We have an established presence in Melbourne where we launched the business in 2018, but I'm excited that Seb has joined us to help more Sydney clients make giant leaps with their digital strategy and accelerate our growth in that market," Oliver added.
Amielh transitions to Restive from Endava, where he served as executive general manager in Sydney since 2020. He has accumulated over 25 years of experience in technology across Australia, Canada, and France, working with prominent firms on digital strategy and transformation. Prior to his role at Endava, Amielh was General Manager at Lexicon and principal at Thoughtworks.
Commenting on his new role, Amielh said, "I've watched Restive grow significantly over the past few years, so I'm excited that Stuart has chosen me to lead the growth in Sydney and beyond. I'll be focused on helping him and his team deliver best-in-class digital advisory, delivery, and team augmentation services to our clients. I'm looking forward to working with some of the most progressive digital companies in the country, helping them to optimise technology and their teams to achieve growth."

Today, Restive comprises over 400 tech experts who provide a range of services including strategy, delivery, and team augmentation.
