Pro AV Solutions named among Australia's best places to work

Thu, 24th Jul 2025

Pro AV Solutions has been recognised as one of Australia's Best Places to Work 2025 by The Australian in partnership with WorkL.

The national recognition is based on an independent assessment evaluating workplace culture, employee engagement and leadership across multiple organisations. The rankings utilise confidential employee feedback and analyses of company practices to identify employers that excel in creating supportive and effective work environments.

Employee engagement highlighted

Pro AV Solutions, which specialises in audio-visual, collaboration and unified communications, employs more than 320 staff across every Australian state. The company has focused on building a culture where employees are valued, connected, and empowered in their roles.

"We are incredibly proud to be named one of Australia's Best Places to Work," said Kylee Naglost, Chief Executive Officer of Pro AV Solutions. "This recognition belongs to our people. It reflects the trust we have built together, the care we show each other and the shared purpose that drives how we work every day. It has taken time and effort across every location and every role."

This achievement marks a milestone for Pro AV Solutions, which has been in operation for over three decades. The company is recognised within the industry for its professional audio-visual integration and workplace collaboration technologies, with this latest accolade emphasising its strengths in workplace culture, in addition to its technical capabilities.

National workforce, local approach

With offices and team members located in every state, Pro AV Solutions has developed strategies to maintain a cohesive national identity while ensuring local offices have the flexibility they need. This approach encompasses policies that foster collaboration, encourage ownership, and promote well-being and inclusion throughout the business.

Key elements of Pro AV Solutions' employee value proposition include shared accountability for outcomes and autonomy, as well as ongoing opportunities for learning and professional growth in a fast-changing sector. Efforts have been made to deliver consistent workplace experiences, regardless of geographic location, according to the company.

The focus on wellbeing and inclusion is emphasised by initiatives designed to create an environment in which all employees feel respected, supported, and able to contribute. Training, mentoring and career progression frameworks are cited as part of the broader effort to engage employees and facilitate their ongoing development.

Survey methodology

The Best Places to Work awards utilise WorkL's employee engagement survey, which consists of 31 questions developed with input from behavioural scientists, data analysts, psychologists, business leaders and academics. The survey aims to measure engagement, wellbeing, and discretionary effort accurately.

According to organisers, organisations must demonstrate strong results across six key categories in WorkL's framework to achieve high scores: Reward and Recognition, Instilling Pride, Information Sharing, Empowerment, Wellbeing, and Job Satisfaction.

Leadership response

The company describes the announcement as a collective achievement, supported by authentic feedback provided confidentially by staff. This feedback forms a core part of the verification process underpinning the annual awards and is an indicator of the company's culture and employee sentiment.

"We are proud to see our name on this list," added Kylee. "The result shows that the environment we have worked hard to create is one where people feel proud to belong and motivated to do their best work."

Pro AV Solutions has stated its intention to celebrate this recognition internally and continue sharing examples and stories that highlight the people who underpin its operations and achievements.
