PPDS appoints Patrick VanTreese as Director of Education Sales
PPDS (Philips) has declared the appointment of Patrick VanTreese as Director of Education Sales. The announcement comes as PPDS is preparing to execute its vigorous and ambitious growth strategies across all educational levels.
Patrick VanTreese, a seasoned AV/IT education specialist, based in Tampa, Florida, joined PPDS in September 2021 as Education Sales Manager. He was tasked with stimulating growth in the brand's education market, enhancing brand cognizance, and invigorating its sales of an array of advanced campus solutions.
In his new role as Director of Education Sales, VanTreese is poised to navigate and elevate the company's education strategy in North America, pinpointing new business prospects, partnerships, relationships, and revenue streams. His objective is to match PPDS's vision of establishing itself as the top-tier solution provider in the realm of education.
During his tenure, VanTreese has distinguished himself as a significant player in the company's strategy to create more immersive, collaborative, and inclusive learning environments. These environments, which utilise Philips Professional Displays, are making a remarkable impact in schools, colleges, and universities across North America, exceeding all company objectives and goals.
PPDS endeavours to deliver a comprehensive spectrum of dedicated education AV solutions, supporting every diverse section of a campus. These range from classrooms and cafeterias to sports facilities and student accomodations.
Among the devices being exhibited and showcased are the all-new Philips Interactive 4152 E-Line 4K, an interactive classroom display which brings an additional range of educational features to educators and students. The display is available in sizes of 65, 75, and 86 across model variants. The new Android SoC Philips Interactive Series features a stunning 3840 x 2160 Ultra HD interactive touchscreen with 40-touchpoint interaction, an upgrade from its predecessors, encouraging collaboration and fostering creative skills amongst peers and tutors.
Commenting on his new position, VanTreese stated, "Since joining PPDS two years ago, the company, both nationally and internationally, has evolved and excelled. The strength of our teams, and the quality and innovation of our dedicated display hardware and software solutions, inspire me, our partners and, more importantly, tutors across North America. I'm proud of what our team has achieved to date, we're still just getting started. I'm excited about the opportunity to help take PPDS to the next level."
VanTreese while reflecting on the company's continued growth, added: "When I joined, I described the company as a sleeping giant in the education space. That giant is now very much awake."
Bruce Wyrwitzke, PPDS Director of Sales, to whom VanTreese will still report, added, "Since day one, Patrick's commitment and enthusiasm have been an inspiration. I'm thrilled Patrick has accepted this new position as Director of Education Sales, continuing the upward trajectory he and the team have worked so hard on."
