Huawei welcomed various participants to an exclusive event last night at the Intercontinental Hotel in Shanghai, ahead of the huge Huawei Connect 2016 event expected to amass over 20,000 people from 100 different countries.

Designed to give people an idea of what to expect at Huawei Connect 2016 over the following three days, the event was a huge success.

Joy Tan, Huawei president of global media and communications spoke at length about the monumental changes that are ahead and already happening, largely driven by the cloud.

“The cloud is changing everything,” Tan says. “Our goal at Huawei is simple – to make this world a better and connected place.”
