Nord Security, Wavelink in ANZ MSP distribution pact

Mon, 9th Mar 2026

Nord Security has signed a distribution partnership with Wavelink for Australia and New Zealand, expanding its channel reach among managed service providers (MSPs) and resellers serving small and mid-sized businesses.

The deal adds Nord Security's business products to Wavelink's portfolio and includes joint work on partner support across the region. It also gives Nord Security a route to market as it grows its presence in Australia and New Zealand.

Small and mid-sized organisations remain a consistent target for cyber criminals, yet many lack dedicated security teams and specialist tools. That gap has increased the role of MSPs and resellers managing security across multiple customer environments, often with limited time for complex deployments and ongoing administration.

Under the partnership, channel partners will be offered a suite that includes NordLayer, NordPass, and NordStellar. NordLayer is positioned as a network security platform for business, NordPass as a password manager, and NordStellar as a threat exposure management platform.

Nord Security is pitching the bundle as a standardised toolset MSPs can deploy across different customers. It is also highlighting simplified deployment and packaging for resellers delivering managed security services.

Channel focus

Distribution agreements in the cybersecurity market often emphasise onboarding, enablement, and repeatable sales motions rather than single-product transactions. For vendors, a distributor provides local coverage, established partner relationships, and support infrastructure. For MSPs, distribution can reduce procurement friction and provide a single point of contact for commercial and technical assistance.

Nord Security will join Wavelink's Amplitude program, which the distributor describes as an initiative to scale newer technology vendors in Australia and New Zealand. The program combines access to Wavelink's reseller network with services that support transacting and channel development.

Nick Touzeau, Chief Operating Officer at Wavelink, said the partnership aligns with the program's remit.

"Wavelink is delighted to welcome Nord Security to our Amplitude program, an initiative specifically designed to accelerate the growth of emerging and innovative technology vendors across Australia and New Zealand. This program provides a structured pathway for vendors to establish and expand their channel footprint, leveraging Wavelink's existing partner ecosystem, operational infrastructure and market expertise," said Touzeau.

"Through the program, vendors gain streamlined access to our reseller network and simplified transacting, enabling them to build meaningful partner relationships and scale effectively within the ANZ market," added Touzeau.

Product bundle

Nord Security is best known in the consumer market for NordVPN, though it has expanded its business products in recent years. Its business suite is used by more than 20,000 organisations globally.

For MSPs, the appeal of a bundled approach often lies in reducing the number of separate consoles and vendors used across customers. A single stack can also simplify renewals and licensing when customers want a consolidated view of costs. At the same time, MSPs weigh that simplicity against the need to integrate with existing tools, customer preferences, and regulatory requirements across industries.

Nord Security said small and mid-sized businesses in Australia and New Zealand are facing the same tactics used against larger organisations, positioning MSPs and resellers as a key line of defence.

"In Australia and New Zealand, we're seeing SMBs targeted with the same tactics as larger organisations, but many don't have the tools or headcount to respond. MSPs and resellers are well placed to help, and our focus is to equip partners with an integrated security stack they can implement quickly and deliver at scale. Working with Wavelink, we'll support partners to help drive stronger outcomes for our SMB customers," said Aivaras Artiškevičius, Channel Sales Director, EMEA and APAC at Nord Security.

Vai Le, Distribution Business Manager, APAC at Nord Security, pointed to the operational demands of managing security across many customer environments.

"MSPs and resellers manage security in many customer environments, and require solutions that are practical to deploy and efficient to run at scale. Channel partners are telling us they want fewer moving parts and simpler delivery, with security they can package, implement, and manage consistently across multiple environments. Partnering with Wavelink enables us to support partners throughout ANZ with an integrated security stack that reduces complexity, strengthens protection for customers, and helps build a scalable, consistent offering for the channel," Le said.

Both companies also flagged education and joint market activity as part of the relationship, with Wavelink's local footprint supporting partner engagement across Australia and New Zealand. The partnership places Nord Security within a more formal channel structure in the region, with Wavelink acting as the distribution layer for MSPs and resellers serving small and mid-sized businesses.
