New Relic updates partner programme

02 Jun 2020

New Relic, a cloud-based observability platform, has refreshed the partner programmes from the New Relic Partner Network (NRPN).

“Two senior New Relic appointments will be instrumental in enabling New Relic to achieve greater success with our partners, including AWS, Megazone (Korea), PagerDuty, Bespin (Korea), Blazeclan, Versent and Rackspace,” says New Relic Asia Pacific and Japan EVP and general manager Dmitri Chen (pictured).

According to Chen, the appointment of Luke Knowles (A/NZ) and Sean Pavan (South East Asia, India and South Korea) as senior solutions partner managers shows New Relic’s strong desire to invest in partner relationships across the region.

NRPN was designed for ease of engagement and flexible business models, built for partners to leverage the New Relic observability platform as they go to market with a solutions approach.

Within NRPN, New Relic is launching its first-ever Technology Partner Programme, enabling hundreds of existing integration partners to participate in go-to-market benefits and create New Relic One applications with the platform’s programmability features – to integrate their business data and create workflows on the New Relic platform.

NRPN now also expands and tailors programme benefits for channel partners that may have multiple business models, including:

  • Consulting partner
  • Managed service provider
  • Solution provider
  • Technology partner

NRPN now offers:

  • Technical and sales enablement to build and strengthen partner team competency and capabilities, with a combination of self-service, virtual, and instructor-led training delivery options.

  • A certification program delivered through New Relic University that offers a comprehensive observability-focused curriculum across the entire New Relic platform.

  • Access to demand generation assets and tools, such as playbooks and event-in-a-box templates to help identify and drive opportunities with customers.

  • A partner portal experience that is easy to navigate and is a one-stop platform for all the tools partners need to be more productive, to build revenue, develop marketing initiatives and educate their teams.

“We are excited to announce a refreshed channel partner programme for solution providers, consulting partners and managed service providers, and to introduce our Technology Partner Programme,” Chen says.

“Cloud migration and adoption is accelerating rapidly across the region, mirroring the pace and scale at a global level. The worldwide public cloud services market is forecast to grow 17% in 2020 to total $266.4 billion, up from $227.8 billion in 2019, according to Gartner.

“We believe the partner ecosystem will be pivotal in addressing the high demand from customers who want to optimise resource consumption across multiple clouds and help other customers embrace the cloud faster, gain control of their cloud costs and provide a platform for building cloud-native apps.

New Relic was recently recognised and positioned by Gartner as a Leader for the eighth time in the Magic Quadrant for Application Performance Monitoring report.

New Relic One is an open and programmable observability platform and allows customers to visualise, analyse and troubleshoot their entire stack including infrastructure, logs, apps and clients, and distributed traces.

As customers go through their cloud journey, they often use a myriad of consultants, service providers and technology providers, and each cloud provider has an ecosystem of partners to maximise the value of their cloud and create new ways of procuring technology and services.

New Relic has developed relationships with many of the leading partners in each of the cloud ecosystems and will continue to invest in the partners that extend the reach of the platform and create new routes to market.

Recent NRPN successes include entering agreements with some of the industry’s leading consultants, signing several new MSPs and driving continued momentum with sales through cloud marketplaces such as the AWS Marketplace.
