FYI, this story is more than a year old

NEC Australia has announced the release to market of its latest LED Screen offering – the Xtreme series.

Designed and supplied in Australia for the Australian commercial audio-visual market, the NEC Xtreme series features:

  • A Bonded Resin Face for greater shock resistance
  • An ultra-smooth finish capable of touch interaction
  • A range of pixel pitches from 1.0mm to 4.0mm
  • 170 degrees viewing angle
  • Cleaner aesthetics
  • Splash-proof for increased safety
  • Low screen reflection
  • Short lead-time of typically only 4 weeks

Another feature of the NEC Xtreme series LED range is the ability to upgrade display resolutions with a simple change of pixel tile.

NEC Product Manager Chris McCullough says there was increased demand for a new LED series in Australia.

“With 16:9 tiles, LED cabinet configurations easily create popular native resolutions including full HD and 4K UHD,” he says.

“Its strength is in its versatility – if you want to upgrade down the track with finer pitch or a greater resolution, for instance, the NEC Xtreme LED series allows you that flexibility at a time that suits you and your business.

“All you have to do is swap out the tiles,” McCullough adds.

The Xtreme can be wall mounted, suspended or floor standing.

NEC has a proud history in designing and supplying state of the art LED to the marketplace globally and this latest offering is no exception.

The Xtreme series LED is now available to purchase via NEC's Channel Partner and Distribution network.
