ManageEngine recognised as 'Strong Performer' in Forrester Wave reports
ManageEngine, the enterprise IT management division of Zoho Corporation, has been lauded and emerged as a "Strong Performer" in several categories. The enterprise bagged this recognition in The Forrester Wave: Unified Endpoint Management (UEM), Q4 2023 and The Forrester Wave: Enterprise Service Management (ESM), Q4 2023 reports. In the UEM evaluation, the company scored the highest possible in OS support, application management, innovation, pricing flexibility, and transparency criteria.
The Forrester Wave reports are authoritative industry overviews that assess market-leading vendors, providing a guide to technology professionals and organisations during their purchasing decisions in a crowded vendor landscape. ManageEngine's Endpoint Central and ServiceDesk Plus were particularly highlighted for introducing a new level of efficiency in operations.
Jay Stauffer, Vice President of Information Technology at LPW Group, praised ManageEngine's collaboration of these platforms. Stauffer said, "The seamless integration between these systems not only streamlines operations but also introduces a new level of efficiency. The ability to connect ServiceDesk Plus with Endpoint Central brings forth powerful automation, ensuring that routine tasks are executed effortlessly, freeing up resources for more strategic initiatives."
"Moreover, this integration enhances security measures and incident management across LPW Group companies, creating a robust defense against potential threats."
Expressing delight at the company's recognition, Rajesh Ganesan, President at ManageEngine, stated, "We are thrilled with this recognition from Forrester for our UEM and ESM solutions, which validates for us our path of integrating our solutions to deliver the digital enterprise management platform."
In the assessment of ManageEngine's Unified Endpoint Management System offering, Endpoint Central, Forrester mentioned that "ManageEngine wants to use it to drive security and IT ops convergence by integrating classic security features, such as vulnerability management, app control, and ransomware protection, with management capabilities in an integrated, first-party solution."
It also appreciated the vendor's innovative approach, illustrated by multiple new product releases over the year, powered by market-leading R&D investment, increased engineering headcount, and high revenue growth.
ManageEngine has continuously focussed on advancing the capabilities of Endpoint Central, particularly in matters of security. Recent introductions like Endpoint Privilege Management, Data Loss Prevention, anti-ransomware, and the latest addition of next-generation antivirus indicate the company's commitment to delivering a well-rounded endpoint protection platform (EPP).
Mathivanan Venkatachalam, Vice President at ManageEngine, said, "This recognition is a validation for us of our efforts in consolidating Endpoint Central as an end-to-end endpoint platform, empowering IT teams to manage and secure their digital workplaces."
ManageEngine's IT Service Management (ITSM) platform, ServiceDesk Plus, also received recognition from Forrester in its Enterprise Service Management (ESM) Q4 2023 report. This platform has been recently strengthened by introducing two novel features beneficial for service teams. These features, the single-touch workflow automation in the solution's cloud version and the added blended conversations feature to Zia, ManageEngine's AI-assisted chatbot, assist in automating complex processes end-to-end, crafting meaningful conversation workflows visually and contextually aiding users.
