LG unveils Bottom Mount Fridge with InstaView feature
LG Electronics has introduced a new Bottom Mount Fridge model to its InstaView refrigerator series, incorporating the company's recognised InstaView technology and premium features into a traditional design.
The newly launched 340L Bottom Mount Refrigerator (model GB-V300MBL) aims to combine modern convenience with aesthetic appeal, tailored for integration into Australian kitchens. This addition features a glass panel that illuminates the fridge's interior with two knocks, enabling users to look inside without opening the door, thus helping to maintain internal temperatures by reducing cold air loss.
The expansion of the InstaView lineup, already comprising French Door, Slim French Door, and Side-by-Side models, presents consumers with various choices to benefit from the InstaView technology according to their kitchen preferences. Shannon Tweedie, Marketing Manager for Home Appliances at LG Electronics Australia, stated: "LG is dedicated to shaping the future of home living with technology that makes everyday tasks easier and more enjoyable. By extending our signature InstaView feature to the new Bottom Mount Fridge, we're delivering not only a stylish and premium design, but a practical solution that enhances convenience and freshness. With our commitment to innovation, we're helping Australians rediscover unexpected moments of joy in everyday life."
The fridge's design is as functional as it is visually appealing, sporting a Matte Black finish to match other LG kitchen appliances. The bottom mount configuration places fresh produce at eye level, while the substantial freezer compartment ensures accessibility to frozen foods. The inclusion of an Auto Ice Maker that operates without plumbing is an added convenience for day-to-day use or entertaining.
Equipped with LG DoorCooling+ technology, the fridge utilises air vents at the front ceiling to ensure fast and even cooling, particularly for door-stored items, aiding in prolonging food freshness. The appliance operates with a Smart Inverter Compressor that adjusts speed in accordance with cooling needs, promoting consistent performance, reduced temperature variations, and quiet operation. The compressor comes with a 10-year parts warranty, signalling LG's assurance in the product's durability and reliability.
Additional features of the LG 340L Bottom Mount Refrigerator include ThinQ connectivity, which permits users to manage fridge settings remotely via the LG ThinQ app on suitable smartphones.
The refrigerator is available at an RRP of AUD $1,599 through the LG Online Store, providing an option for consumers looking to align their kitchen appliances with modern technological and design advancements.
