Kingston unveils new red XS1000 SSD compatible with iPhone 15

Kingston Technology has introduced a red variant to its XS1000 External SSD lineup, designed for enhanced storage capacity and enhanced portability compatible with the iPhone 15. The XS1000 red joins its predecessors, the all-black XS1000 and silver XS2000, providing users with diversified options for external SSD storage. These new drives are highly portable, weighing less than 29 grams, and are tailored to meet the expanding storage needs of various devices, including Apple’s latest iPhone model.

The XS1000 family promises impressive read speeds of up to 1,050MB/s and storage capacities reaching up to 2TB. This makes the SSD suitable for storing a wide array of files, such as photos, videos, games, and documents. To ensure compatibility with a wide range of devices, each XS1000 SSD is equipped with a USB-C to USB-A cable and an additional USB-A to USB-C adapter.
