JBL reveals Quantum Stream microphones for content creators
Wed, 10th Apr 2024

JBL has announced the significant expansion of its popular Quantum Streamline of microphones, Quantum Stream Talk, Quantum Stream Studio, and Quantum Stream Wireless. These latest additions solidify JBL's reputation for delivering top-tier sound quality while providing content creators a platform to voice their stories, irrespective of their preferred medium.

The Quantum Stream series caters to various user needs, whether recording podcasts, making hit songs, or engaging with an online fan base. The series features condenser microphones, offering a flat and wide frequency response and maintaining a lighter weight compared to other products in the market.

Dave Rogers, President of HARMAN Lifestyle Division, expressed the importance of quality equipment and superior audio in content creation. He stated, "For over three-quarters of a century, JBL has delivered high-definition sound to listeners around the world, and the time is right to focus on the other side of the equation." He added that with the expansion of the Quantum Stream line of microphones, creators can now leverage JBL's signature sound to make their stories heard and remembered.

The Quantum Stream Talk is an effective entry-level product equipped with built-in JBL QuantumENGINE PC software, enabling users to customise the microphone's EQ to match their environment perfectly. The microphone also boasts a shock-absorbing base and a super-cardioid pickup pattern to guarantee background noise-free recordings, making it ideal for solo streaming.

Quantum Stream Wireless is a versatile option for creators on the move. It sports an omnidirectional pattern that captures high-quality sound from all directions. It features a lightweight, clip-on design, enabling easy mobility, while its noise-cancelling prevents interference from ambient noises.

As the premium offering of the range, the Quantum Stream Studio sets a professional standard by incorporating three specially designed condenser microphones and a 192 kHz/24-bit broadcast quality sampling rate. The quadruple-pattern pickup design ensures optimal audio capture, regardless of whether users are streaming games, recording solo, or with multiple guests. Additional functionalities include an RGB-lit volume meter and a dynamic range compressor, which prevents distortion of loud noises and amplifies softer sounds for a more enjoyable recording experience.

JBL's expansion of its Quantum Stream series of microphones represents a significant advancement in providing content creators with high-quality audio solutions tailored to their diverse needs. With options ranging from entry-level to professional-grade, the Quantum Stream microphones offer versatile features such as custom EQ settings, noise cancellation, and broadcast-quality sampling rates. This latest offering reaffirms JBL's dedication to delivering top-tier sound quality and user-friendly design, empowering creators to bring their stories to life with unparalleled clarity and precision.

The new Quantum Stream microphones' prices are as follows: Quantum Stream Talk at AUD $59.95, Quantum Stream Wireless (both USB C model and LIGHTNING model) at AUD $149.95 each, and Quantum Stream Studio at AUD $199.95. These microphones will be available for purchase on JBL.com.au from April 2024. Committed to sustainability, JBL's packaging is made from FSC-certified paper and printed with soy ink.
