Syniti, a global frontrunner in enterprise data management, has recently promoted Javeed Nizami, Ph.D., to the position of Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and Head of Engineering. In his new role, Dr. Nizami will be accountable for setting the product strategy and future trajectory of the company, focusing on designing and implementing a technology vision that ensures the continual delivery of effective and scalable cloud-based solutions to support its Data First strategy.
Dr. Nizami, an experienced figure in the field of enterprise software, joined Syniti in 2023, where he played a pivotal role in transforming the Syniti Knowledge Platform into a truly cloud-native application. The promotion to CTO and Head of Engineering leverages his extensive background, having spent over 15 years at Siemens in various senior leadership roles. During his time at Siemens, he demonstrated his management mastery in global team leadership and enterprise product transformations, with a particular focus on developing a cloud SaaS platform and refurbishing applications to a cloud SaaS model.
Dr. Nizami holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Akron and he has etched his name in the academic world with 12 publications in international journals and conferences and six granted patents. He has been instrumental in leading Syniti's engineering organisation, building on his vast expertise and utilising these skills to drive innovation in data management and related applications.
Syniti boasts an array of software offerings, including its benchmark unified data management platform – the Syniti Knowledge Platform, which is also rebranded and sold by SAP as SAP Advanced Data Migration & Management by Syniti. The company additionally offers Syniti Rapid Data Governance and its Direct Solutions, Syniti Match and Syniti Replicate.
