Jaggaer earns EcoVadis Gold for top sustainability rating

Yesterday

JAGGAER has been awarded a Gold Medal by EcoVadis for its sustainability performance.

The accolade places the company in the top 5% of all businesses rated by EcoVadis over the past year. Additionally, among its industry peers also assessed by EcoVadis, JAGGAER ranks within the top 1% with a score of 77.

The Gold Medal from EcoVadis highlights JAGGAER's ongoing commitment to embedding environmental, social, and ethical principles throughout its operations, and in enhancing its sustainable procurement practices.

"At JAGGAER, sustainability represents a very important element of our overall business practices. As a vendor of cutting-edge procurement solutions ourselves, we strive to lead by example by continuously improving our own sustainability performance," said Jeff Laborde, Chief Financial Officer and Executive ESG Sponsor.

"This approach allows us to more readily and more credibly serve as an ESG enabler for our customers and support them in empowering their own organisations to seamlessly integrate ESG principles into their procurement decisions."

EcoVadis is recognised as a leading provider of business sustainability ratings, evaluating companies across different industries on their environmental, social, ethical, and sustainable procurement policies. It currently has a network encompassing over 130,000 rated companies globally.

The sustainability ratings by EcoVadis are grounded in international standards such as the Ten Principles of the UN Global Compact, the International Labour Organisation (ILO) conventions, the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) standards, and the ISO 26000 standard. These ratings offer evidence-based analyses of a company's performance and provide a roadmap for continuous improvement.

JAGGAER's journey in EcoVadis ratings began with a bronze medal in 2021, followed by another bronze in 2022. In 2023, the company improved its standing to a Silver Medal.

"The Gold Medal awarded in 2024 is a testament to our efforts to continuously improve our sustainability practices and remain adaptable by embracing changing customer demands, market regulations, and expectations for innovation with products, partners, and processes," added Mr. Laborde.
